How Lounge Repair Guys Got Started

The Lounge Repair Guys was started by Mark Watkins and Eva Indrackova. Initially operating from a garage, in 2009 they moved into their first professional workshop. The Lounge Repair Guys is now an established national brand with technicians servicing Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba, Northern NSW, Sydney, Far North QLD, Melbourne and Canberra.

With flexibility unlike any other career choice, this job fits around your lifestyle. Your hours are flexible, at around 30-40 per week, and you will have low overheads and running costs. We will also provide you with marketing support and ongoing training. 

1. Make an initial enquiry - Send us an enquiry and one of our friendly franchise experts will be in touch.

2. We will schedule an initial interview - Meet with the Lounge Repair Guys directors to find out everything you need to know about becoming a franchisee.

3. Confidentiality agreement & franchise application - You sign our confidentiality agreement, to proceed to the next stages.

4. Formal Interview Process - We will begin the formal interviewing process, which includes on-location business discovery with the Lounge Repair Guys team including onsite observation with a current technician.

5. You make a $5,000 deposit - Pay an initial deposit to secure your franchise. Deposit is fully refundable if you change your mind before signing the contract.

6. Receive and sign franchise documents - We will send you franchise documents, which you can sign and hold for a 14 day period.

7. Make final payment - After 14 days you make the balance of payment.

8. We will provide a custom van fit-out - We will custom fit your van with all of the tools you need.

9. Two week training course - While your van is being appropriately equipped, you will undertake our two-week training course, then you’re in business!
