I have always had a passion for cars. I was looking at different franchises when my accountant told me that I should do what I love doing. After going through the different franchises, he recommended Jim's. Unlike the others, Jim's has the support, back up and guaranteed income. I have been with Jim's for 7 months now and am going well. I enjoy the flexibility. 
I am a perfectionist so I might spend a bit more time on a vehicle but customers are very appreciative and are willing to pay for a top job. I already have quite a few regular customers including schools , government departments, TAFE colleges and small local businesses. I like meeting different people and working on a wide range of vehicles. If you have a passion for cars and give that little bit extra in customer service, you will be appreciated by the customer. You know when you have done excellent work for the customer when they present you with gifts at Xmas. That made my day.

Jim's Car Detailing is the first time I have had my own business. As a new business owner I had many reservations and nerves in making that initial first step toward taking on my own business but the Jims group were very supportive during this process. My franchise has been building strongly since my start and is becoming everything that I wanted it to be. After working as a Designer in the Mechanical Engineering Industry for 19 yrs, I felt that I needed a change of profession -like the old adage goes: "change is as good as a holiday". I spent countless hours researching and meeting
various people in order to make an informed decision. However wherever I searched or went, one common brand kept on crossing my path —coincidence perhaps. I decided to call Jim's and was blown away by the prompt and professional call I got from my now franchisor Ismet Kuru.

So without a doubt and plenty support from my wife and kids, I knew it was the right fit for me. Before I joined Jim's Car Detailing I was at the height of my professional career, managing a multi-million dollar retail operation BUT my private life was abysmal. I worked crazy hours, never seemed to see my son, and couldn't participate in my favourite sport of basketball. After buying my Jim's Car Detailing Franchise this all changed. As a business owner I set my own hours, working when I want and taking time off when I want.
I spend great quality time with my son, often taking him to school and/or collecting him after school. I have time to play basketball, to coach junior teams, and to umpire at state level.
