Nurse Next Door Australia's Story
Originally established in Vancouver, Canada over twenty years ago, Nurse Next Door officially launched in Australia in 2019 with the establishment of a corporately owned location in Melbourne by local Co-Founders Amber Biesse (CEO) and Matt Fitton (CCO). This foundational site enabled the brand to gain insights into the local market and refine its operations through hands-on experience.
Every aspect of the brand was thoughtfully adapted to align with Australia’s regulatory landscape, cultural nuances, and client expectations. The focus was on creating locally relevant materials, systems, and messaging that would genuinely
resonate with Australian families—while staying true to the company’s core purpose and values.
As Franchisors, Amber and Matt’s unwavering commitment to excellence has shaped every part of the business. Their vision and dedication have attracted high-calibre Franchise Partners who, in turn, have built thriving businesses in a remarkably short period of time.
Franchise development followed soon after the Melbourne launch, with the first franchise location opening in May 2020. Since then, growth has been rapid, with 75 active territories now operating across the country and strong, ongoing interest from purpose-driven individuals passionate about customer service, operational excellence, and making a meaningful impact in their communities.
