We freshly hand-make our delicious chicken meals on site, and customers are spoilt for choice with a variety of wholesome quality meals unrivalled by larger fresh food retailers. There are over 100 products in the current Lenard’s range, including exclusive formats and flavours developed by Lenard’s for Lenard’s! And it's not just Lenard's favourites that customers love either. Even after 30 years in business, customers are falling in love with inspired NEW tastes in our windows every day. Including our brand new Ready to Cook range that will be available in all stores from August 2015. This new range is unlike anything ever seen in the marketplace! Each meal is packaged for convenience in bake-in trays and made using wholesome and fresh ingredients wherever possible. Central to the new range is our new ‘Lenard’s Kitchen Sauces’ which have no added artificial colours and preservatives (where possible) and minimally added sugar and salt. These new products are destined to be very popular with customers and will take us even further ahead of our competitors!
2. AUSTRALIA LOVES CHICKEN
Australians eat more chicken every week than any other meat – there has never been a better time to join the Lenard’s network! Australians are eating 15kg more chicken meat than they did 15 years ago thanks to health trends and the climbing price of beef. We now eat 46.2kg of chicken a year - 50% more than 15 years ago when chicken consumption was 31kg. During this time beef consumption has fallen from 38kg per capita to 31kg. Beef prices are tipped to continue to rise with a 50% jump predicted in the next year. There has never been a better time to be in the chicken business! (Source: The Australian, 10/06/2015)
