The story goes like this: In the late 90’s Gloria Jean’s swept across Australia, and by 2003 Jean had completed her good deed, delivering espresso coffee to every corner of Australia.
Nearly 21 years later, a new version of Gloria Jean’s opens with a whole new look, new brews and a canteen style café menu, what hasn’t changed is our love for coffee, learning about it, GJ old school values and our signature orange, Pantone 021C.
Thanks to the support of many loyal guests, Gloria Jean’s has grown to a global network of cafes. Delightfully, there are thousands of us now, and we look forward to seeing you soon.

We’re day-makers. Our crew spend months learning how to pull the most pristine, perfect shot of House espresso. Every Gloria Jean’s crew member is a ‘keeper’ of that single coffee cherry, from the time it gets picked, until the time it’s brewed.
Gloria Jean’s, around since 1979, is an iconic brand with deep coffee knowledge, but it all ultimately revolves around amazing, incredible coffee day-in, day-out. We call it the ‘Good Cup’.

Human connection is why we’re here, and sometimes we realise it’s as simple as two lattes. We’ve evolved from a small group of cafe all-rounders – feeling their way – to a company of coffee experts, and after 21 years in the game spent perfecting espresso coffee, we’re jumping on the third wave coffee train.
The new Gloria Jean’s is built with slow coffee in mind. The idea of a pick me up goes way past caffeine. Coffee has the ability to make people pause and interact, with each other, and over the counter with GJ’ers geeking out on batch brew, microlots, deconstructed iced coffee, and Single Origin filters.
