This relatively new caravan park with 48 powered sites with Council approval to double this. was opened by the sellers 13 years ago. They have continued to add facilities since then, with three self-contained cabins being added in 2015. The park is located on the Atherton Tablelands, just one hour's drive from Cairns International Airport, with the area in which it is located rated by Australian National Geographic as having the "perfect climate". The location is unmatched to take advantage of the region's interesting historic townships, waterfalls, dams and lakes, caving, wineries, coffee plantations, exotic fruits, rainforests, fossicking, music festivals, 4WD trails and more. The Great Barrier Reef can be visited in a day trip from here, by travelling to Cairns Harbour and enjoying one of the many reef trips. Kuranda's famous Skyrail, Kuranda Railway Station and the outstanding scenic train trip, Barron Falls and the Top and Bottom Markets are an easy drive through changing scenery.
