They also lease a warehouse in an adjoining suburb for furniture storage and lease a separate workshop where they recondition white goods for resale in the showroom and hold spare parts also for resale.

There are no licences required to operate the business, but skills in buying new and second-hand household goods, understanding of a retail operation and white goods machinery operation would definitely be an advantage.
There is huge potential to expand to other non-serviced areas e.g., Murray Bridge, Mt Barker, Noarlunga, Elizabeth etc. The business was also heavily involved in television advertising about 5 years ago, this could be rekindled giving it a fresh approach and pushing hard at the lower end of the retail homewares market.
One of the Directors wishes to retire and travel around Australia, the other Director would be happy to stay on in the business for a period if required.
