From a humble beginning in 1981, opening our first store in Bondi, Sydney, Donut King now boasts more than 200 stores across the country, making us Australia’s largest speciality donut provider with stores now open internationally. Sharing our passion for sweet treats and our mission to add a bit of “fun” into the lives of customers.

We are the Home of the Hot Cinnamon Donut with our iconic hot ‘cinnis’ made fresh to order each and every time. Our passion and pride in creating the perfect sweet treat experience doesn’t stop there - our donuts are hand decorated on site each and every morning by donut decorators.

Our vast menu includes Iced Donuts, topped and filled with all your favourites, Quakeshakes, Thickshakes, Milkshakes and, of course, coffee! You’ll also find our legendary Hot Dogs under the same roof, with some stores also offering a range of toasted sandwiches and pastries to bust that hunger and satisfy your cravings.

Marketing support

Donut King’s Marketing Department are a team of qualified professionals with years of experience creating and implementing innovative and successful marketing programs. The marketing team are responsible for all major national campaigns as well as:

• Digital Marketing (eComm, Social Media, Website)
• Loyalty Program
• TV, Radio, Newspaper, Out of Home media & Print advertising
• In Store Promotions
• Local Area Marketing Support
• New Product Development
• Public Relations

Training provided

We recognise that you may have limited experience, therefore we deliver an extensive four-week training program to help teach you what you need to know to operate a Donut King. The trainers are brand experts that will teach you all aspects of running the franchise.
Our purpose build training academy is located on the Gold Coast in Mermaid Beach, QLD.
Additionally, in-store support when you open, as well as ongoing assistance from both the support office and the operations field team.

Skills

• The ability and willingness to follow the franchisor's proven systems
• No specific qualifications are required, although having business experience is an advantage
